2017: Wastewater Treatment Plant - CHP unit

Passavant Energy & Environment GmbH have awarded PCS the electrical and SCADA works for the WWTP in West of Nablus. 

 

The project consists mainly of the following process:

  • Biogas Desulphurisation Reactor
  • Activated Carbon Filter
  • CHP (Combined Heat and Power Plant; capacity of 400KW)
  • Biogas booster after ceramic filter
  • Boiler 

PCS was responsible of the Electrical installation of the Power cables, 800A motorized circuit breaker, control wiring and the SCADA programming. All the 4 components were interconnected together.

 

The addition of the CHP unit have saved the WWTP up to 75% in its electricity bill.

2017: Recovery - Irrigation (Gaza)

Effluent Recovery and Irrigation Scheme of North Gaza Emergency Sewage Treatment (NGEST) is a part of North Gaza Emergency Sewage Treatment (NGEST) project which includes municipalities of Jabalia, Beit Lahya, Beit Hanoun and Um Al Nasser.

 

The project is constructed of 14 water recovery wells, collection pipes from the wells to the pumping station site and 3 irrigation sites. The pumping station has two 4000 m3 water tanks with 5 pumps.

 

PCS is taking care of all the Automation Works in this project including:

  • Cabinets for all sites (total of 18 cabinets)
  • Instrumentation (Submersible Hydrostatic Level Transmitters and Pressure Indicating Transmitters)
  • Servers for the SCADA room
  • Establishing GPRS communication for the Booster station and Irrigation wells
  • Programming of Booster Control for Irrigation and Water extraction from wells

In the Booster Station PLC, the CPU used is S7-1500 PLC along with SIMATIC TOP Connect modular system.

2017: Wadi Shallaleh WWTP - Irbid/Jordan

 

PCS consultancy services have been requested for Wadi Shallaleh Waste Water Treatment Plant in Jordan. In addition to evaluation of existing components and errors diagnostics, PCS have also provided the client with complete station backup for SCADA, HMI and PLC.

2017: ARZ Ice-Cream Factory - StraightLine

The 2nd stage of the ARZ Ice-cream production line was executed in early 2017 to expand the machine control on the material inlet part.

 

Full and flexible control have been implemented on the production line with the help of Siemens Simotion D controller and Simatic HMI and ET200sp I/Os.
